What we collect
This website has no forms and no account area, so it collects nothing from you on its own. We only hold information you give us directly when you get in touch, and that is usually your name, your phone number, your email address, the address of the property and any photographs you send us of what needs to go.
Why we hold it
We hold it to give you a price, to arrange the job and to carry it out. We also keep a record of work we have done because we are legally required to account for the waste we carry. If you pay us, we keep the payment record for as long as the law requires.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing. We share it only where we have to, which means the licensed waste site that receives your items, our accountant, and any authority such as the Environment Agency or your council if they ask us to prove where waste went.
How long we keep it
We keep quotes that do not turn into work for six months and then delete them. We keep records of completed jobs, including waste transfer notes, for seven years, because that is what the tax and waste rules require.
Photographs
The photographs you send us are used to price and plan your job. We do not publish a photograph of your property or your belongings anywhere without asking you first, and you can say no without it affecting your price.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@fasttrack-removals.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
