The council bin takes grass and cuttings. We take that and everything the bin will not: soil, rubble, fence panels, sheds, garden furniture and the mixed rubbish that piles up behind the garage.

Heavy waste fills a van by weight
Soil, rubble and slabs are heavy. A van is full by weight long before it looks full, so a small pile of rubble can be a whole load. Send a photo and we will tell you what it makes.
Taking things down
We take away sheds, fences and decking, and we can take them down for you as well. Say which you need when you send the photos and we will price it.
What we cannot take
Asbestos, including old garage and shed roofs. Gas bottles, paint, chemicals, tyres and batteries. Japanese knotweed. If you are not sure what something is, send a photo and ask.

How much does garden waste removal cost?
Two things set the price: how much of the van your waste fills, and how far we travel from Gateshead. Soil and rubble are priced by weight instead, because they fill a van before it looks full. Bagging, carrying and the walk from the back garden do not change it.
Send a photo of the pile and you get one fixed price back from a real person. No permit, nothing sitting on your drive for a week, and nothing to pay until the job is done.

I recently used Fast Track Removals and Waste Ltd to clear my back garden, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The state of the garden was honestly a bit of a nightmare. It had reached the point where there was a noticeable smell of rotting waste, and I was not sure if it could even be properly cleaned.

Used Fast Track for a load of kitchen cabinets and old wood. Lads turned up slightly later than initially quoted but communication was spot on.. even with a smile on their faces on arrival at 6pm on a cold, wet, dark night.

Fast Track were very flexible and accommodating when we were struggling to pin down a move date and communicated really well. On moving day they were true to their name and fast to fill up the van. We got the keys very late and didn’t move until 7pm but the guys were still smiling, polite and found hidden depths of energy to keep going after working all day. Don’t know how they do it! Despite ours being a tricky move getting the go ahead and keys after 5pm they worked until the job was done then returned another day to complete the tasks. Great rapport with each other and excellent customer service. Would recommend absolutely and will use again.
I was moving from a 2 bedroom flat into a maisonette with 3 floors with my partner and could not fault the lads once. Even though certain items where big and heavy the lads got me moved within an hour or two with 0 damages. They worked efficiently and all in unison even though it was a challenging property with all those stairs!! Fast Track Removals are incredible and they are indeed living by their name. They were very fast, safe, and handled my massive American-style fridge-freezer with zero issues. Those things are a nightmare to move, but the guys made it look easy and didn't scratch a single wall. If you want a team that’s quick and actually knows what they’re doing, use these guys. Garden waste removal questions
How much does garden waste removal cost?
It depends on how much of the van your waste fills and how far we travel from Gateshead. Ten bags of cuttings is a small load. A whole overgrown garden can be two or three. Soil and rubble are priced by weight. Send a photo of the pile and we reply with one fixed price.
Do I need to bag it up first?
No. Leave it where it is and we bag it and carry it. If you have already bagged it, that is fine too. Either way the price is the same.
Do you take soil, rubble and slabs?
Yes. Soil, bricks, rubble, concrete, gravel and paving slabs are all fine. They are heavy, so a small pile can fill a van by weight. Tell us roughly how much there is when you send the photos.
Can you take my shed or fence down?
Yes, we take sheds, fences and decking down and take them away. Tell us which you need when you send the photos and we will price both parts together.
Is this cheaper than a skip?
For a few bags or one van load, it usually is. You also skip the permit, the wait and a skip sitting on your drive. For a very big job a skip can work out cheaper. Send photos and we will tell you honestly which makes sense.
Do you take general household rubbish as well?
Yes. Bin bags, broken furniture, old carpet and the mixed rubbish that ends up in the yard can all go in the same load as the garden waste.
Where does the garden waste go?
To a licensed waste site. Green waste is composted, and soil, rubble and wood are recycled where possible. We are a registered waste carrier CBDU523317, so you can check us on the Environment Agency register.
